Roles and Responsibilities
The MTN NIPOST Projects - MTN Vending App, MTN Activation on the Go, brought together a cross-functional team with clearly defined roles to ensure smooth execution from planning to go-live.
1. PMO Lead - Demi
Primary Responsibilities:
Provided overall project governance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Defined scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Monitored progress against milestones and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitated cross-team communication between business units, technical teams, and external partners.
Ensured compliance with PMO standards and reporting requirements.
2. Technical Lead - Taofeeq
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversaw logistics and procurement (bike purchase, branded t-shirts).
Led system go-live (pilot deployment).
Managed integration with MTN MoMo Service.
Collaborated with QA and UAT teams for testing and validation.
Ensured smooth operations during platform rollouts and third-party service integration.
3. Timothy - Mobile App Developer
Primary Responsibilities:
Developed and implemented wallet management, transaction management and commission management features.
Ensured platform security, authentication and role based access control.
Drove overall technical execution of the website landing page and related modules
Provided technical support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live.
4. Sales & Reporting Support - Chris
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepared sales reports and performance tracking.
Supported data validation and accuracy in reporting processes.
Provided analytics to support decision making.
Collaborate with other team members to align sales insights with business goals.
5. Project Stakeholders - All
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in testing and validation of transactions with MTN
Provide feedback during UAT and early production stages.
Provide joint feedback for improvements before go-live.
