🏅EBS Pay
Welcome to the official knowledge base for the EBS Pay: Retailer Wallet & Vending Integration for S & D
The proposed solution is to evolve EBS Pay into a unified digital payments ecosystem serving retailers, customers, and admins. The platform will act as a one-stop hub for bill payments, airtime and data purchases, wallet funding, and inter-bank transfers, with cashback rewards for retailers to drive engagement and adoption. This enhancement aims to increase transaction volume, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen EBS Pay’s market position within the fintech and retail payment landscape.
The project retains its core features such as Dashboard Analytics, Airtime & Data Vending, Order & Transaction Management, and Admin Controls. However, the next phase focuses on expanding the platform’s capabilities across five key feature areas to support a broader payments and wallet ecosystem:
Wallet Funding & Management – enabling customers and retailers to fund their wallets through multiple payment channels while supporting cashback incentives for retailers.
Bill Payments – allowing users to conveniently pay for utilities such as DSTV, electricity, and other subscription-based services directly from the app.
Bank Transfers – supporting seamless wallet-to-bank transfers, with commission charges applied per transaction.
Retailer Cashback & Commissions – introducing a reward system where retailers earn commissions for every vending.
Admin Reconciliation & Oversight – empowering administrators to manually review, reconcile, and manage wallet funding and transactions via the Admin Web App.
The successful launch of this enhanced EBS Pay platform is expected to:
Drive Revenue Growth through new income streams such as bill payment charges, wallet funding commissions, and inter-bank transfer fees.
Improve Operational Efficiency by automating wallet reconciliation, transaction management, and cashback computations.
Enhance Market Competitiveness by positioning EBS Pay as a leading digital payments solution comparable to top fintech players in Nigeria.
