The Jollof.com project team is structured to ensure clear ownership of deliverables across planning, execution, and delivery. Each role is aligned with the project’s objectives and responsibilities within the four-layer platform and microsite rollout.
Wole → Product Owner & E-Commerce Manager
Demi → Project Manager
Taofeeq → Tech Lead
Anabel → Customer Experience Manager
Deborah → Product Manager (UI/UX & Wireframes)
Daniel → QA Lead
Dev Team → Reports to Tech Lead
1. Product Owner - Wole
Responsibilities:
Act as the voice of the customer and define product priorities within the backlog.
Translate business goals into clear product features and user stories.
Approve and prioritize backlog items in alignment with project objectives.
Lead vendor partnerships and oversee smooth onboarding of vendors onto the platform.
Define and manage e-commerce workflows, payment rules, and service models.
Collaborate with the Project Manager (Demi) to align delivery timelines with business needs.
Ensure commercial viability and performance of the e-commerce ecosystem on Jollof.com.
2. Project Manager - Demi
Responsibilities:
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Track project progress, risks, and dependencies using structured reporting.
Facilitate communication across stakeholders and technical teams.
Coordinate testing, deployments, and go-live activities.
Ensure compliance with project management best practices and governance.
Work closely with Wole (Product Owner), Taofeeq (Tech Lead), and Deborah (Product Manager) to align execution.
3. Tech Lead - Taofeeq
Responsibilities:
Define and oversee the technical architecture across all solution layers.
Ensure system scalability, security, and high performance.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
Review and approve system designs, APIs, and integrations.
Mentor developers and resolve technical challenges.
Support vendor system integrations and technical onboarding.
4. Customer Experience Manager - Anabel
Responsibilities:
Design and manage customer journey flows to ensure satisfaction and usability.
Collect customer feedback and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Manage communication and support channels for user issues.
Collaborate with Deborah (Product Manager) to align design with user needs.
Monitor KPIs such as customer satisfaction, retention, and service response times.
Ensure customer service excellence across all lifestyle and commerce features.
5. Product Manager - Deborah
Responsibilities:
Define product roadmap and feature prioritization in collaboration with Product Owner (Wole).
Own UI/UX process, including wireframes, mockups, and functional requirements.
Collaborate with Anabel (Customer Experience) to align design with user needs.
Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications.
Work with Taofeeq (Tech Lead) to ensure feasibility of product features.
Validate final delivery against product objectives before release.
6. QA Lead - Daniel
Responsibilities:
Lead all quality assurance activities for the platform.
Develop test strategies, test cases, and execution plans.
Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure platform stability, security, and performance benchmarks are achieved.
Report defects/issues and track resolution with development team.
Validate releases to ensure bug-free and reliable deployments.
7. Development Team (Reports to Taofeeq)
Responsibilities:
Build and implement system features as per approved requirements.
Write clean, scalable, and secure code.
Develop mobile apps (Android/iOS), web modules, and integrations.
Resolve bugs and implement feature enhancements.
Collaborate closely with QA Lead (Daniel) for issue resolution.
