Roles and Responsibilities
The MoMo-Lightway Finance Project brought together a cross-functional team with clearly defined roles to ensure smooth execution from planning to go-live.
1. PMO Lead - Demi
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide overall project governance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Define scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Monitor progress against milestones and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitate cross-team communication between business units, technical teams, and external partners.
Ensure compliance with PMO standards and reporting requirements.
2. Technical Lead - Taofeeq
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead technical architecture, development, and deployment of the platform.
Oversee API configuration and integration with MTN MoMo services.
Direct development of core modules, including authentication, wallet validation, fund transfer, and transaction monitoring.
Ensure system security, scalability, and performance standards are met.
Work closely with QA teams on platform testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide post-deployment technical support and guide future technical enhancements.
3. Partner Lead - Lightway
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate customer experience and internal transaction testing on the platform.
Lead the development of customized admin portals for MTN monitoring teams.
Ensure that platform configurations align with partner operational workflow.
Provide feedback to the technical team for improvements and optimization.
4. Security & Integration Support - SCE
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage transaction monitoring and logging frameworks.
Support the design of secure integration points for external systems.
Provide recommendations for fraud prevention and compliance monitoring.
Assist with audit readiness and security control validation.
5. Project Stakeholders - All
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in testing and validation of transactions with MTN
Provide feedback during UAT and early production stages.
Contribute to decision making during critical project checkpoints.
